* MBBR Process
MBBR technology employs thousands of polyethylene biofilm carriers operating in mixed motion within an aerated wastewater treatment basin. Each individual biocarrier increases productivity through providing protected surface area to support the growth of heterotrophic and autotrophic bacteria within its cells. It is this high-density population of bacteria that achieves high-rate biodegradation within the system, while also offering process reliability and ease of operation.
This technology provides cost-effective treatment with minimal maintenance since MBBR processes self-maintain an optimum level of productive biofilm. Additionally, the biofilm attached to the mobile biocarriers within the system automatically responds to load fluctuations.
* SBR Process
The sequencing batch reactor (SBR) is a fill-anddraw activated sludge system for wastewater treatment. In this system, wastewater is added to a single “batch” reactor, treated to remove undesirable components, and then discharged. Equalization, aeration, and clarification can all be achieved using a single batch reactor. To optimize the performance of the system, two or more batch reactors are used in a predetermined sequence of operations. SBR systems have been successfully used to treat both municipal and industrial wastewater.
* SAFF Process
Submerged Aerobic Fixed Film Reactor (SAFF) is a cost-effective method of waste water treatment and sewage sanitation that is primarily used in residential and commercial complexes. SAFF process is attached growth type aerobic biological process which uses corrugated inert UV stabilized PVC media. Unlike other aerobic processes of suspended growth principally it provides higher mechanical surface area due to corrugation on media surface. This higher surface area helps biomass microbes for rapid digestion of biomass.
In the wastewater industry, SAFF Technology is used commonly for commercial and residential sewage sanitation / waste water treatment, particularly for small to medium range flow requirements.
* MBR Process
Membrane technology used for removing solids in wastewater treatment is usually based on ultrafiltration or microfiltration. The membranes can be introduced into the biological wastewater treatment process either as:
a separate unit operation downstream of the biological step, or
integrated into a biological process.
If the membranes are added as a separate unit operation, they are often referred to as a polishing step and are usually based on the hollow fiber membrane configuration.
* Electrolysis Process
Electrolytic is the passing of electrical current through water has proven very effective in the removal of contaminants from water by destabilizing and electro coagulating the suspended organic and inorganic solids within the sewage waste. This electrochemical sewage treatment system is noiseless, clean and significantly reduces Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) and Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) turbidity, suspended solids, colour, odour and pathogenic bacteria count. The electrolytic sewage water treatment system is environmental, user and operator friendly. It is also compact in space.
* Advanced oxidation Process
Advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) have been developed in recent decades, which involve the production of some highly reactive and powerful oxidants. Among these, hydroxyl radical is such an oxidant, which can nonselectively degrade the majority of recalcitrant contaminants into less harmful products. Thus, AOPs can be considered emerging and promising green chemical approaches for wastewater treatment. These will find a dominant position among various wastewater treatment technologies in years to come.
